The Fluent Business English Accelerator is a complete professional communication programme for ambitious non-native professionals who want to speak, write, and contribute in English with confidence, clarity, and authority at work.
You freeze in meetings when it's your turn to speak.
You spend twenty minutes on an email that should take five.
You leave a call replaying what you should have said.
You hold back in discussions because you're not sure the words will come out right.
It's what happens when English is being used in high-stakes professional situations, as a second language, without a reliable system for how to communicate well in those moments. The hesitation, the over-editing, the silence — these aren't signs that your English isn't good enough.
When that mental load reduces and you stop needing to manage your English so carefully, meetings feel less exhausting, the gap between how you communicate in English and how you think closes, and English starts to feel like a tool again, not an obstacle.
You already use English regularly at work, in meetings, calls, emails or presentations
You understand English well, but don’t always feel at ease when using it
You overthink phrasing, tone, or whether to speak up
You feel less capable or visible in English than you are in your first language
You want English to feel dependable, not like something you have to manage
You’re looking for grammar lessons or exam preparation
You're at an early language level and still need foundational English
You want to sound like a native speaker, rather than communicate clearly and confidently as yourself
Each lesson is practical, with exercises and activities built in throughout. You don't just watch — you pause and participate, like a traditional lesson, and then apply what you learn directly to real situations from your own work.
The content is organised into six modules:
Tone is one of the most important, and least taught, parts of professional English.
This module shows you how to adjust your language for different levels of formality and different professional contexts, so you always appear credible, appropriate, and in control. Small changes in tone make a significant difference to building strong and effective relationships at work.
Meetings are where visibility happens and where many professionals feel least confident in English.
This module gives you the language and strategies to participate actively, interrupt and disagree respectfully, ask good questions, and make your voice heard clearly, even in fast-moving or high-pressure discussions.
Presenting in English — whether to a team, a client, or senior leadership — requires a different kind of language to everyday conversation.
This module teaches you how to structure and deliver information clearly, describe data and trends with authority, and handle questions and discussion confidently, even when you haven't prepared for every scenario.
Phone and video calls in English are particularly challenging. There are no visual cues, audio is often unclear, and you have very little time to think.
This module gives you strategies to clarify, confirm, and respond naturally, manage unexpected or difficult moments, and end calls feeling in control rather than grateful it's over.
Professional writing in English requires precision in tone, structure, and word choice, in a way that general English doesn't teach.
This module covers emails, written communication, and professional correspondence, so you can both write for yourself and work more confidently with AI, to ensure your writing reflects your thinking accurately and creates the right impression.
To contribute credibly in senior conversations, you need more than communication skills — you need the vocabulary of business leadership.
This module teaches the key language used across the areas that senior professionals are expected to understand: finance, performance and risk, investment and funding, sales, marketing, HR, operations, suppliers, business planning, and strategy. Taught through practical exercises designed to fix the vocabulary in your long-term memory, not just expose you to it.
You'll be able to:
contribute in meetings as yourself, without holding back or over-preparing because of your English
express your ideas clearly and confidently, even when you need to think and speak at the same time
present information with clarity and credibility, including responding to questions and discussion
pick up the phone or join video calls with confidence, knowing how to manage the conversation as it happens
write and edit emails and messages so they reflect your thinking accurately, without relying on AI to say what you mean
Most importantly, you'll trust your English enough that it stops undermining how capable or professional you feel at work. Not because your English became perfect, but because it became reliable, even on high-pressure days.
For many professionals, this is the point where English stops being something they manage and starts being something that supports their career.
My name is Anna-Maria.
Before I became a business English coach, I spent over 15 years working in finance and senior business roles in the UK — in corporate tax at Smith & Williamson and PwC, and then as Portfolio Finance Director, Consultant, and CEO for various businesses. For nearly a decade since then, I've coached international professionals who use English every day at work.
That combination matters more than it might sound.
Most business English courses are designed by language teachers who understand English well but have limited experience of what senior professional communication actually requires. The Accelerator is designed by someone who has been in those meetings, written those emails, made those presentations, and managed those difficult conversations, and who then spent a decade understanding exactly where non-native professionals get stuck and why.
This means the Accelerator focuses not on "better English" in abstract terms, but on the specific communication skills that change how you perform and how you're seen by others at work. Every module reflects real professional situations. Every technique has a practical application. It's not about sounding more native. It's about communicating more effectively as the professional you already are.
Participants use the Accelerator in different ways. Some work through it independently, while others combine it with mentorship support.
In both cases, the key is applying the system in real work situations.
“It made a noticeable difference in my work, especially when handling emails, reports, or meetings in English. I felt more confident using specific business-related terminology and my boss invited me to speak in more meetings. You've taught me how to use my language as a tool in general management and people management at work, improving my business skills in my own language as well as in English. It's made me much more confident at work.”

“I was lost using my English in a professional environment. Now I have tools and techniques, and I understand better how to prepare myself when I need to use English at work. I doubt myself less, so people understand me better. The tools for improving were always in me — but my mindset sometimes didn't let me be aware.”

If you start with Independent and later decide you want more support, you can always upgrade to Guided or Private Mentorship when spaces are available.
On the Guided and Private Mentorship plans, you have private Telegram access to me for three months. In practice, this means something quite different from what "asynchronous support" usually implies.
When something happens at work — a difficult email or conversation, a presentation you're preparing, a meeting that didn't go as planned, a grammar question from something you wrote that morning — you send me a message. I respond with a full, useable explanation: not just a correction, but the reasoning and teaching behind it, so you understand it rather than just memorise it.
The coaching covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, tone, communication strategy — whatever is relevant to what you're dealing with right now.
The timing matters more than it might seem. Asking the question and getting an answer while the context is still live — while you're still thinking about what happened that morning or an hour ago — is fundamentally different from waiting until a weekly session.
One of my students put it this way:
"When I have a doubt, I put it in Telegram and I know that when you can, you're going to answer me — and you're going to tell me the truth: this is good, this isn't. Getting the answer in that moment, when I'm still thinking about what happened that morning or an hour ago, means I understand it completely. If I had to wait until the next session, I couldn't remember exactly the point. It's not the same. It helps me a lot."
Núria, Private Mentorship student
I encourage students to use voice notes for their messages, which creates a benefit that isn't in any features list: regular, low-stakes speaking practice on real business content, without preparation or performance pressure. Over time, the habit of explaining your work situations in English, out loud, often daily, builds fluency and confidence faster than almost anything else. Students often don't notice this is happening until they look back.
This is what "a coach in your pocket" means in practice — not just someone available to answer questions, but someone coaching the full range of your business English, continuously, in the context of your real working life.
If you join the Accelerator and decide within the first 14 days that it isn't the right fit, let me know and I'll refund your investment in full. This applies to all three tiers.*
No explanation required.
*Note: Refund does not include the value of any private 1:1 sessions already attended on the Guided or Private Mentorship plans.
The course is designed to fit around a busy working week. You do as much or as little as you want. Most students spend 1–2 hours per week on the material — some weeks more, some weeks less. Each video lesson is short, so you can work through them in small blocks rather than needing long study sessions. Most busy professionals take around 3–4 months to work through the main material at a realistic speed alongside a full-time job, though you have lifetime access so you can go faster or slower depending on what's happening at work.
Video lessons give you flexibility and control over your learning. You can watch at a time that works for you, pause to do the exercises, repeat sections, change the playback speed, and come back to review something again later. You can also practise repeating phrases and structures out loud without the pressure of someone listening. I've carefully designed the lessons with exercises and activities built into them, to make them interactive, practical and effective. This isn't an online course where you watch the videos and hope something sticks. The Guided and Private Mentorship tiers add live and Telegram coaching on top of this, combining the flexibility of self-paced video with the accountability and personalisation of working directly with me.
You can always upgrade to Guided or Private Mentorship later, subject to availability. Because both tiers have limited places — Guided to a maximum of 10 students and Mentorship to 2 — upgrading isn't always immediately possible, but I'll always do my best to accommodate you as soon as possible. If you think you might want more support from the start, it's worth choosing the right tier from the beginning rather than waiting.
The weekly group coaching Q&A sessions are scheduled based on participant availability. When you join Guided, you'll complete a short poll about your availability so the session can be set at the time that works for the majority of participants. All sessions are recorded, so if you can't attend a particular week, you won't miss out on the discussion.
The Accelerator is designed for professionals at B2 level or above who already use English regularly at work. If you can follow this page comfortably and use English in meetings or emails, you're at the right level. This is not a foundational English course — it's a professional communication programme for people whose English is already functional but not yet fully effective under pressure.
Not at all. Despite the Fluent Finance English brand name, the Accelerator is designed for any ambitious professional who uses English at work — in meetings, presentations, calls, emails, and senior conversations. The largest module covers meetings and professional communication skills that apply across every industry and role. Module 6 focuses on business leadership vocabulary across all areas including finance, but the language taught is used and understood by senior professionals in all fields. I have a separate course, the Finance Fluency Toolkit, which specifically teaches the detailed vocabulary needed by finance professionals.
You have 14 days from joining to decide. If you don't feel the programme is the right fit, let me know and I'll refund your investment in full — no explanation required. The only exception is that the refund doesn't include the value of any private 1:1 sessions already attended on Guided or Private Mentorship plans.
If you'd like to talk through your situation before deciding, you're welcome to book a free 30-minute clarity call.
